Rick Parris
Chairman

Rick brings over 50 years of real estate and corporate governance experience to Emerge Capital. As Chairman, he provides strategic direction and has been instrumental in shaping a strong culture of governance across the firm. Rick has delivered landmark projects across Asia, Europe and Australia, including high-profile, government-led developments. He was formerly a Senior Executive at Lendlease and Director of several Lendlease subsidiaries. He has also held board positions on multiple government corporations and ASX-listed companies.

Nathan Parris
Managing Partner

Nathan joined Emerge Capital in 2012 and has led the firm since becoming Managing Partner in 2017. He has completed over $30 billion in real estate transactions across Australia, Europe, Middle East and Asia.

With 30+ years of experience, Nathan has held senior roles at international real estate companies Lendlease, Morgan Stanley, CapitaLand and Taubman Centres. He brings deep expertise across office, retail, residential and mixed-use sectors, spanning both investment management, development and asset management.

Beau Wang
Executive Director

Beau has over two decades of experience focused on transaction advisory, strategy and finance.

With a robust track record spanning residential living, industrial and logistics, and mixed-use developments, Beau navigates complex real estate investments from inception to execution. He oversees all aspects of client relationships and stakeholder engagement, guiding institutional capital and delivering tailored outcomes aligned with client objectives.

Prior to his current role, Beau worked in various leadership roles in private equity and direct investments. He started his career in investment banking and has been involved in over $20bn of public M&A transactions across industries such as banking and finance, mining and general industrials. Beau holds a Bachelor of Applied Finance and Actuarial Studies from Macquarie University.

William Shang
Director

William is responsible for leading transactions, capital raisings and strategic advisory mandates. He has executed numerous transactions across residential, office, retail and mixed-use real estate, including build-to-rent, land lease communities and master-planned developments.

William manages the full transaction lifecycle — from evaluating opportunities and financial due diligence through to negotiation and ongoing investment reporting. He was previously a private equity real estate lawyer at King & Wood Mallesons and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and Bachelor of Law (Hons I) from the University of New South Wales.

Christina Zheng
Head of Investments

Christina leads Emerge Capital’s investment mandates across the firm’s institutional client portfolio. She brings over 15 years’ experience in the real estate industry, spanning investment management, development, and corporate finance. She is client‑focused, with deep expertise in supporting institutional capital across the full real estate lifecycle – from acquisition through to delivery, asset management and capital recycling.

Prior to her current role, Christina was an Investment Director at Australia’s largest pension fund, AustralianSuper, where she held cradle‑to‑grave responsibility for its >$13bn Australian real estate portfolio. Christina holds a Bachelor of Finance and Accounting from the University of Technology Sydney, where she was a full scholarship recipient, and she is a Chartered Accountant.

Jessie Jacobs
Group Finance Manager

Jessie oversees all finance and accounting functions at Emerge Capital. She manages day-to-day transactions, budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, board reporting and financial analysis.

She plays a key role in identifying and managing regulatory and business risks, ensuring compliance with AFSL licensing requirements and broader financial regulation. She is also responsible for fund administration and investor relations of managed funds.

Jessie is a CPA and holds a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Technology Sydney.

Neil Murthi
Director

Neil is responsible for leading and executing complex transactions, including portfolio M&A, joint ventures and capital raisings. He has executed numerous transactions across residential build-to-sell, build-to-rent, land lease communities, office, retail and mixed-use sectors.

Neil manages transactions end-to-end — from due diligence and negotiation through to execution — and also oversees the Australian investments of Emerge Capital’s clients. Neil holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) from the University of Melbourne and Master of Economics (Financial Economics) from the University of Sydney.

Jacob Seeto
Associate

Jacob is responsible for buy-side and sell-side transactions in build-to-rent, build-to-sell, office, retail and mixed-use sectors. His role includes financial modelling, analysis, due diligence and transaction documentation, as well as supporting asset and development management engagements for both single-asset and portfolio investments.

Jacob brings prior experience in finance and private equity from several US-based investment firms and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from DePaul University.

Associate

Johna is responsible for supporting investment and development management investments across build-to-rent, build-to-sell apartments, office, industrial retail and mixed-use sectors. Her role includes programme monitoring, risk analysis, investment reporting and partner management. She brings prior experience across real assets, infrastructure private equity, corporate finance and listed equities and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) / Economics (International Trade and Finance) from the University of Queensland.

Analyst

Jake is responsible for supporting investment analysis and transaction execution at Emerge Capital, with a particular focus on build-to-rent projects. His role includes financial modelling, opportunity evaluation and due diligence, as well as assisting with client investment oversight.

He brings prior internship experience in investment banking and holds a Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Western Australia.

Ally Richardson
Analyst

Ally is responsible for supporting and executing complex transactions, including joint ventures and capital raisings. She contributes to investment analysis and the execution of capital solutions across all asset classes. Her work spans financial modelling, opportunity evaluation, due diligence, and transaction documentation.

Prior to Emerge Capital, Ally worked as an Alternative Investments Analyst in JLL's Capital Markets team, where she focused on Living sector. She is currently a CFA participant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from Monash University, complemented by international studies in Finance at Università Bocconi, Milan.

Analyst

Will is responsible for supporting investment analysis and transaction execution at Emerge Capital, including financial modelling, opportunity evaluation and due diligence.

He brings prior internship experience in investment banking and holds a Bachelor of Commerce / Information Systems from the University of New South Wales.

Corporate Development Manager

Sal is responsible for Emerge Capital’s corporate development initiatives, with a focus on process improvement and workforce enablement. The role supports business growth by identifying and implementing operational efficiencies, enhancing cross-functional workflows, and embedding best-practice standards across the organisation.

Sal has studied Business Management, Marketing and Financial Planning and has worked in large and small organisations across the finance sector.
